Tinny-Bio

Nii Addo Quaynor, known by his stage name Tinny, that he got from his mom, is a Ghanaian Rapper from Osu, Ghana. He began singing and rapping at the age of 8 at parties which is what lead him into the music industry. He began performing at Fun world, an entertainment program that was organized every Sunday at the Ghana National theatre in 1994.  Although, his first album was not successful, it drove him to work hard on his next project that ended up with a number one hit in the country single known as “Makola Kwakwe.”

He broke into a primarily Twi rapping  and singing hiplife music with fast rhyming raps and punch lines in Ga that made his sound more appealing and distinct which attracted the younger generations across Africa, as well as winning him the respect of the Ga native speaking people.

In 2007, Tinny was picked to have his video “Incomplete” by Mtv to be shot by renowned director Rachel Watanabe-Batton. In 2008 he was able to record a single track with Ja rule when he had come to Ghana to perform for the 2008 Ghana music awards. Tinny was registered as on of Glo Ghana’s ambassadors in 2009. He has performed with artists like Ekow Shailo, DOgo, Etuo Buba, and many more, along with  having performed in Nigeria and releasing a special album for the Nigerian market. Tinny has high hopes of becoming big within the Ghanaian music industry.
