THE LAST SUPPER by Kwame Yesu is an EP released on October 12, 2023. Even though it is only six songs and 14 minutes long, it does a good job of celebrating Yesu’s friends and family who have supported him since the early days of his career. The hip-hop EP features Kwame Yesu rapping in English and the Ghanaian language Twi. Yesu using a reference to the Last Supper reflects the influence of his strong Christian upbringing, which is also evident in his stage name (Yesu). The first song on the EP, “4’da Gang,” acknowledges Yesu’s crew and family for supporting him and remaining loyal. The entire project is filled with songs for enjoyment, which he has said is one of the main reasons he makes music.
