A person wearing a camouflage hoodie stands against a colorful graffiti wall, with overlay text displaying 'ACL' and 'BLAQBONEZ'.

ACL by Blaqbonez was released on October 17th, 2025, with the Nigerian rapper’s most recent album, No Excuses, which is a project that responds to ODUMODUBLVCK. Produced by Don’t Worry About It, ACL is a track packed with Blaqbonez’s confidence, self-security, and irreplicable artistic expression that makes him the “blueprint.” Because his swag, fame, and charisma cannot be duplicated, Blaqbonez establishes that he is so set apart that the other rappers in the game might tear their ACL attempting to be like him. With their accumulation of this severe knee injury, the “failed rappers turned into internet gangstas” get called out by Blaqbonez as he floats like a butterfly on the beat and continues to take jabs at his opponents.

His visualizer serves as the avenue to turn up his swag as he rocks along to the beat, graffiti in the background, emphasizing the lyrics in his song, alongside a girl dancing near him.

A few standout bars where Blaqbonez really wasn’t playing were in verse 1 and verse 2 when he said:

I been pulling strings, make the machine work for me

Whenever I need PR, they be like my employees

So much delulu think he’s a king, but he’s a pawn

I make a move, watch how his mouth go start to run

Everyday all about Blaq, he’s tweeting

Anywhere wey clout dey, you see him

Old man (Huh, hm, yeah)

All you really want is greeting

These swings Blaqbonez takes are nods to ODUMODUBLVCK’s alternative nickname “Industry Machine,” or “the machine.” To say that ODUMODUBLVCK is delusional for believing he is a king when he is really a pawn is an immediate demotion of his superiority.

An outstanding part of this track in the visualizer involved a heat monitor sound, which signaled a beat switch in this verse. Since this song was my initial discovery of Blaqbonez, I wasn’t fully aware that it was a diss track until the visualizer displayed a screen recording of messages sent from ODUMODUBLVCK under his Instagram handle, INDUSTRY MACHINE. I found it rather striking that these messages were comprised of a number of long block texts that received little to no response from Blaqbonez, which, in my opinion, furthers his point in this track- that all the naysayers or wannabes cannot touch him, or they risk losing a ligament.
