The Music Video for his new album, “No Excuses,” is amazing. I believe that it’s raw, authentic, and greedy. I love how he involves the most iconic hip hop symbols with graffiti and being in alleys and around garages for his songs in this album.
“ACL” – Blaqbonez
The song is very bold and gives a confrontational vibe throughout. I like how he highlights the Nigerian artist’s confidence and uses his lyrical skill and competitive Spirit to present it socially in his music videos. The song was released in 2025 along with his new album called “No Excuses.” Looking through more research, I can see that this song is quickly one of the most talked about songs from his project because of how aggressive and seriously is with this tone when using an upbeat trap sound. The song did reach number 2 on Apple Music in Nigeria’s top songs chart. This shows how amazing and strong his fan base is in responding to his music.

The chorus of the song is built around braggadocio, it’s a type of traditional hip hop where artists are able to boldly and confidently recite and show off influence and dominance over their competitors that have beef with. Blaqbonez, during the chorus, used metaphors and humor To talk about how he is the top rapper and basically the standard that other rappers try so hard to imitate but fail.
“Make dem no tear their ACL ’cause they wan flow like Blaq.” This line is very interesting to me because he uses ACL as a metaphor to explain to other rappers not to hurt themselves trying to be like him. He was trying to get them to understand be themselves is safer than being someone that you’re not.
