The Hip Hop African Podcast

The podcast episodes feature discussions and interviews on hip hop music and culture produced by African artists in Africa and in the Diaspora. The podcast is produced by Dr. Msia Kibona Clark and students in the Department of African Studies at Howard University. You can access all of our podcasts here, as well as on iTunes, Stitcher, and select episodes are on YouTube and SoundCloud.

Please contact us at feedback@hiphopafrican.com if you would like to:

1. Submit your material (music, book) for consideration for review on the blog.

2. Submit a press release for a new book on the blog.

3. Submit your music to be featured on the podcast. You must send an MP3 of the song/s, briefly describe the message in the music, & indicate that you are giving us permission to play the song in the podcast.

4. Submit an event for posting on the blog

We are a “nonprofit” blog & podcast. We are a part of the African Studies Department at Howard University. We cannot accept any money, including donations, and the blog & Podcast will always be free to access.
