Beat Bangaz Radio: This is an online radio station by Beat Bangaz, DJ Collective of DJs out of Cape Town, South Africa. They are DJs Ready D, E-20, and Azuhl. They use the platform to live stream a mix of old school hip hop, electronica, and South African music 24/7. Check out their Beat Bangaz Online and tune-in to Beat Bangaz Radio.
Planet Earth Planet Rap (PEPR): This is a 24/7 online radio station that plays hip hop from all over the world, and feature a lot of content from Africa. PEPR is also part of Chuck D’s And You Don’t Stop! radio show and RAPstation operation.
Rap Radio Africa: This is an online radio station that features rap music and live talk shows. The website features a live streaming format that plays hip hop from around Africa. It started out as a radio show on Coal City FM 92.8 and was founded by Bionic Mbah (Czar) in November of 2003.
AfricanHipHop.com: This is one of the oldest websites dedicated to reporting on hip hop-related happenings among African MCs. Africanhiphop.com brings news, interviews, feature stories, DJ mixes, and web radio shows. The discussion forum has united heads from all over the world.
HipHopAfrica.net: A website promoting urban African culture via the web. HiphopAfrica.net brings new and exclusive music, mixtapes, and albums from your favorite African rappers and also emerging and underground rap and hip hop artists whose various profiles can be found on the site as you navigate.
HIPHOCALYPSE: This was an African Hip Hop podcast that showcased African hip hop artists from all over the continent. It was one of the first podcasts on African hip hop. It was hosted by Sensai Tate and ran from 2007 until 2011. The show is no longer produced, but several of their episodes are still on their Podomatic site.
