30 days of Tanzanian hip hop: Day 6 Tifa

30 days of Tanzanian hip hop: Day 6 – Tifa. There are not that many women in hip hop, anywhere. But there are some in TZ who are trying to get heard. Lakini, seriously, we need more respect within hip hop for female emcees, and for women in general.

Tanzania and Ghana come together on the song “Tagha Flow”. It’s a colabo with Tifa from Tanzania and Kenzi from Ghana. You can hear and download it here: http://soundcloud.com/kkenzi/kenzi-n-tifa_tagha-flow

*30 days of TZ hip hop is to show some of what I experienced the past year in Tanzania.
